The build: Size 7 1/8 100% beaver fur felt, mid-weight, in deep chocolate.
Hand-creased in a modified Gus/cattleman crown-4" front, 5.5" back—with a subtle front-to-back slope and a mule kick up front for attitude. A friendly 3.5" brim keeps it easy for all-day wear. Finished with a strip of full-grain buffalo leather and a single feather.
The chocolate beaver carries that quiet, broken-in richness and the modded Gus shape splits difference between working hat and statement piece. The buffalo band keeps it honest-rugged, textural, no pretense.
