Return & Refund Policy
At Tyson’s Hattery, every hat is shaped, sewn, and finished by hand. We take genuine pride in the quality of our work and stand behind it. This policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our craft.
Ready-to-Ship & In-Stock Hats
If you are not fully satisfied with a ready-to-ship purchase, we accept returns within 7 days of confirmed delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
• The hat is unworn and in original, unaltered condition
• The original packaging, hang tags, and any included accessories are intact
• A return authorization has been requested by contacting us before shipping the item back
To initiate a return, contact us at tyson@tysonshattery.com within 7 days of delivery. Once your return is approved and the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or defective.
Custom & Made-to-Order Hats
Custom orders represent a significant investment of time, materials, and skilled craftsmanship tailored specifically to you. For this reason, custom and made-to-order hats are final sale and non-refundable once delivered.
That said, your satisfaction matters deeply to us. If your custom hat arrives with a workmanship defect or does not match the agreed-upon specifications, we will work with you to make it right. This may include:
• Alterations or adjustments at no additional charge
• Refurbishment or repairs covered by Tyson’s Hattery
• In exceptional cases, a replacement or credit at our discretion
We encourage open communication throughout the custom order process. Any concerns about fit, styling, or construction should be raised as early as possible so we can address them before delivery.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
In the rare event that your hat arrives damaged in transit or is materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with photographs documenting the issue. We will resolve the matter promptly at no cost to you.
Sizing & Fit
Proper fit is everything in a handmade hat. We strongly encourage customers to measure their head circumference carefully using our sizing guide before placing an order. For custom orders, we will confirm sizing with you prior to blocking.
Returns or refunds based solely on sizing will not be accepted for custom orders if the hat was blocked to agreed specifications. However, we are happy to offer a paid resize or reblock service at a reasonable cost.
