Shipping Policy

Every hat that leaves Tyson’s Hattery is packed with the same care that went into making it. We want your hat to arrive the way it left — pristine, protected, and ready to wear.

Shipping & Handling Rate

All orders ship for a flat rate of $40.00. This fee covers:

•       A Tyson’s Hattery keepsake presentation box — included with every order

•       Double-box packaging engineered to protect fine fur felt hats in transit

•       Full shipment insurance for the declared value of your order

•       Handling, materials, and labor to pack your hat to our exacting standards

No hidden fees. What you see at checkout is what you pay.

How Your Hat Is Packed

We don’t cut corners on packaging. Each order is prepared as follows:

•       Your hat is placed tissue-wrapped inside a branded Tyson’s Hattery keepsake box — a presentation-quality box built to store and display your hat long after delivery

•       The keepsake box is then placed inside a reinforced corrugated outer shipper sized to eliminate movement in transit

•       The outer shipper is sealed, labeled, and insured before it leaves our hands

This double-box method is the industry standard for shipping fine fur felt hats and ensures your investment is protected against the rigors of carrier handling.

Carrier Selection

Tyson’s Hattery reserves the right to select the carrier and service level at our discretion based on the best available rates, delivery reliability, and your location at the time of shipment. Carriers may include UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail.

If you have a specific carrier preference or require a signature upon delivery, please note this at checkout or contact us prior to shipment. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests, though carrier availability cannot be guaranteed.  Contact Tyson for international shipping options.

Processing & Lead Times

Ready-to-ship orders are processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation.

Custom and made-to-order hats ship upon completion of production. Lead times for custom orders vary and will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. We will notify you with tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation with your tracking number via the email address provided at checkout. You can use this number to monitor your shipment directly on the carrier’s website.

If you have not received tracking information within 5 business days of your order confirmation, please contact us and we will look into it promptly.

Damage in Transit

All shipments are insured for the full declared value of your order. In the unlikely event that your hat arrives damaged, please:

•       Photograph the outer shipper, inner packaging, and the hat itself before disturbing anything

•       Contact Tyson’s Hattery within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos

•       Retain all packaging materials — carriers may require inspection before approving a claim

We will file the insurance claim on your behalf and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, whether through repair, replacement, or reimbursement.

Shipping Area

At this time, Tyson’s Hattery ships within the contiguous United States. If you are located in Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally and are interested in placing an order, please contact us directly to discuss shipping options and any applicable additional costs.
